Continuing from our RED/SI2k Shootout... We sent the Cineform RAW footage to BIG for a VFX compositing test. They loved the footage! Said it was beautiful, and super easy to work with. They were able to use the raw footage with the look applied (which puts it into a non destructive 'normal' color space for an easier key). We shot today and everything went flawlessly. It was a super relaxed shoot with Mikhal (Misha), Leblanc and myself, all from the Frame Discreet cinematographer collective hangin out. The VFX fellas from BIG were on set to oversee the setups and they were stoked to see how easy the SI2K mini is to work with. I'm looking forward to working on personal projects with these talented guys!
